    The food was excellent, especially the fish and chips, while service was friendly and professional. The room was beautifully designed and comfortable. The shower lacked adequate water pressure, which detracted from the experience, and the noise from outside was somewhat disruptive.     Luxury and impeccably clean hotel with welcoming staff and lovely views of the castle. Amazing and incredible location in Battle, very close to Battle Abbey, on the high street as well as the garden with a pint of Battle Beer.
